Dr. Catherine Agathos, a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Eye/Head Movement Lab won a Best Poster Award in Basic Science for Postdoctoral Fellow from the International Society of Posture & Gait Research at the 2022 World Congress in Montreal, Canada. Her poster "Eccentric Viewing Shifts Subjective Visual Vertical Perception", examined the effect of eccentric eye position - as is common in those with central visual field loss due to macular degeneration - on the perception of earth-vertical and marks her first presentation of her research at SKERI at an in-person conference.
