Abstract
Dr. James Coughlan will give an overview of the ways in which Apple, Android smartphones, and tablets can be useful for people with visual impairments. This including techniques for using these devices effectively without full vision and apps that are targeted directly at users with visual impairments.
The Low Vision Support Group meets on the first Wednesday of every month at 3 pm. The meetings are held at Smith-Kettlewell, which is located at 2318 Fillmore Street in San Francisco. There is no cost and everyone is welcome to attend.
