The 49th Annual Jampolsky Fellows Meeting was held at Smith-Kettlewell on November 7 to 9, 2023.  This meeting was the first held since the Pandemic.  Dr. Arvind Chandna led its organization, and modified the format to include SKERI research scientists in the program.

After an opening reception on Wednesday evening, the scientific program occupied Thursday and Friday, with breakfast and lunch included. Talks and Round Table discussions were from 9am to 1pm on both days, with a lab tour and hands-on demos on Wednesday afternoon, followed by dinner.

The program consisted of talks by both clinicians and scientists, focusing on unsolved problems and challenges. These were short presentations (approx 5-10 minutes) with questions posed by presenters for discussion. The result was a series of lively discussions between clinicians and scientists as how best to understand the unsolved challenges and ways forward to investigate them for improved outcomes.
